Why I Hate Prophecy.
I’m watching Season 1 of BSG right now and renewing my dislike for the old sci-fi ‘prophecy’ trope. (ps if you haven’t seen it, this post doesn’t really spoil anything). I realize that I’m decrying an element of the fictional work I willingly consume and not some social injustice, but I still have some petty grievances to air (and thankfully, I HAVE A BLOG)....
